The International Society for Anthrozoology (ISAZ) Annual Conference for 2023 will run from June 15th to 18th at the John McIntrye Conference Centre, Edinburgh. The Centre for Applied Developmental Psychology (CADP) in the School of Health in Social Science will be hosting the International Society for Anthrozoology (ISAZ) Annual Conference for 2023 on June 15th to 18th. This conference is the leading international academic conference on human-animal interaction, and attracts delegates from around the globe. This year it will be held in Edinburgh at the John McIntrye Conference Centre (Pollock Halls). The conference committee is led by Prof Jo Williams and includes Dr Roxanne Hawkins, Dr Monja Knoll and Laura Wauthier from Clinical and Health Psychology along with Dr Steve Loughnan (Psychology), Dr Rebecca Marsland (Social Anthropology) and Dr Andrew Gardiner (The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies). The theme of the conference is “The Spectrum of Human-Animal Interactions and Relationships” To examine the positive and negative interactions between people and animals, and to explore these interactions and relationships in different contexts.
