Find out how we engage with statutory services, communities, non-governmental organisations and policy-makers to deliver research that impacts positively on society. The School of Health and Social Science has an ethos that our research should contribute to broader societal change and shape better futures in relation to health and wellbeing. In this respect our impact is closely aligned to the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and University research themes. Our approach to knowledge exchange and impact focuses on how our research can best be shared with, and used by, the communities that contributed to the research. Our networks and collaborations cover a diverse range of stakeholders , including the statutory services (such as the NHS, Local Authorities and Education providers), communities, non-governmental organisations and policy-makers. We engage with our stakeholders throughout the lifespan of our research projects to maximise the positive impact of our work.
