In celebration of our graduating students’ achievement and resilience, the School of Health in Social Science’s graduation ceremony took place on the 16th of July at McEwan Hall, followed by a reception at Underbelly at Bristo Square. Director of Learning and Teaching, Dr Jennifer Tocher, has expressed her admiration and congratulations to our graduating students, saying: The staff would like to say huge congratulations to all our graduating students and we wish you the very best in your future careers. Although many have benefitted from a much more face-to-face learning environment, you have still endured some of the tail end of the COVID19 measures. We believe that you have all demonstrated great fortitude and resilience during this. Many have also experienced in-person examinations for the very first time in your academic journeys and each and every one of you approached this challenge with remarkable resilience. Congratulations to the Class of 2024 for their amazing achievements and we wish them the very best of success and fortune as they embark on their next chapters. We are very proud of all they have accomplished, and we look forward to watching their journeys as they make their impacts on the world as Alumni of the School of Health in Social Science.
