Workshop: My Conception of Psychoanalytical Work with Couples with Eric Smadja Following my multidimensional view of the couple and the personal introduction of the central concept of couple work, this workshop will retrace the course taken by suffering couples who finally decide to consult a specialist, a couple’s psychoanalyst. I shall describe the work’s principal phases, from the circumstances of the first consultation to the objectives and benefits expected of psychoanalytic work with couples, including technical aspects I have introduced in this field of practice.
