I am working on a grounded theory project that explores the ethnic differences and similarities in the lived experience of people affected by dementia in South Africa (SA) Image Within a society that has 11 official languages and 12 ethnic groups, support and services to people affected by dementia need to be culturally sensitive. By including people with dementia and their careers, this study aims to develop an in-depth understanding of their needs and how services could better support them.
