Anti-Oppression Workshop for Counselling and Therapy

This anti-oppression workshop will discuss topics such as intersectionality, equalities, diversity and inclusion and what these mean for counsellors and therapists. This workshop will allow participants the opportunity to reflect on their intersectional identities and working with clients who hold marginalised identities. There will be personal reflection, group discussions, psychotherapy theories as well as practical case studies.

This workshop will be facilitated by Ellie Muniandy. Ellie is an anti-oppression queer POC therapist, supervisor, trainer and facilitator. They work in the area of equalities in the public sector and third sector, as well as running their own private practice for clients and supervisees.

This workshop is open to both counselling students and qualified counsellors.
